I once walked into a senior center and learned (by being utterly unable to find my grandmother) that she'd spent the last year+ getting everyone to call her Tangerine. She's 99! She's been Tangerine for 2 decades now! It was confusing but we managed!On twitter.com

I mean I still just call her "my grandmother" or "grandmommy" but I do refer to her as "Tangerine" because that's her name now! unless I'm doing random legal paperwork for her! it's very easy actually!Permalink On twitter.com
