He got WAY more fenantyl than any of those people ~10x his weight could've possibly gotten by touch in these videos. He also got an appropriate amount for his tiny body weight! The people at risk are people who don't know it's in another substance that gets in their blood.

2/3 Police officers have been told, by authorities including the Drug Enforcement Administration, that microscopic amounts of fentanyl can be deadly; they are taught to fear this substance.

3/3, caps mine: Their bodies may react accordingly, exhibiting symptoms, like rapid breathing, that are indicative of distress and panic. (Fentanyl PRODUCES THE EXACT OPPOSITE EFFECT*; high doses result in slow and shallow breaths.) *aka the videos refute their claims.

I have a VERY strong brain/body connection. An irritatingly strong one. Sometimes a disablingly strong one. It's taken years to understand/accept/work with that connection... So I get how this could happen. And as many have noted, these news stories self-reinforce the belief.

In terms of its effectiveness, I don't think the news story will reach some whole areas who'll just write it off, but maybe it'll stop these ideas from infiltrating more centrist/liberal circles....

also way there's way more others have said on how when police are actually afraid, they have panic attacks or they stand by while children are being mass-murdered, vs they say they feared for their life when shooting a person 60 times and handcuffing their body.
