  1. Some people: "The US is losing its status as a beacon of democracy" ... we didn't get the Voting Rights Act until 1964 and a significant part of the country has been fighting, now successfully, to overturn that since. It's always been very bad at democracy. @earlymodjustice/1495053634777800706
