                    1. Started the Beanie Baby documentary: 90s kid status --- oh god oh god I want all these Beanie Babies. I was into them as actual stuffed animals because I was... a kid! And I had maybe 4 total? I still have my bat! <3 but as a kid I had massive stuffed animal lust for them...

                    one thing I seriously appreciated about Beanie Babies is that they didn't really smile. Smiling stuffed animals make me very unhappy.

                  I heard on a podcast about this that he wanted to make a cat that was cat-like and my first one was a cat... which really was the most cat-like.

      Now listening to The Great Beanie Baby Bubble by Zac Bissonnette and being a) a 90s kid/teen, b) a platpus myself, I went to see what they're selling for on ebay. Anyway... these are both the McDonalds one. From 1998. One of these people is... both hopeful and lying.
