Slightly different context but this is part of why I almost never give stars on Goodreads. I occasionally will for some 5s and some 1s/2s (always with explanation). The reason I sometimes give out 5s is that on occasion either a book really hits me, or I enjoy it an awful lot and I want to be sure it gets a good rating. But otherwise I just... don't????Permalink On twitter.com
